EICAS ENGINE INDICATIONS PAGE AIRBUS A320

An electronic instrument system used for modern turbine-powered aircraft senses the engine parameters and displays them on one of two multicolour display units on the instrument panel. The EICAS evaluates changes in any of the parameters and, based on programmed limits, warns the flight crew of any changes that could signal an impending problem. Only vital information is shown at all times, but any of the sensed parameters are automatically displayed when they fall outside of their allowable range of operation.
Engine/warning display (E/WD) is the upper of two Electronic centralized Aircraft Monitoring (ECAM) displays. It is organized in two areas, the engine display and warning/Memo display.
The aircraft equipped with CFM and IAE engines have different E/WD indications.CFM engines have N1 as main control parameter.
Secondary engine parameters can be displayed on lower ECAM (SD).
