ENGINE INDICATION ON EICAS

Engine Indication and Crew Alerting System (EICAS) is designed to provide all engine instrumentation and crew annunciations in an integrated format. The information supplied includes display of torque, inter stage turbine temperature, high and low pressure gas generator RPM, fuel flow, oil temperature and pressure.
As part of the EICAS, graphical depiction of aircraft systems can be displayed. Such systems as electrical, hydraulic, de icing, environmental and control surface position can be represented.
All aircraft messaging relating to the above systems are displayed on the EICAS.

1. Thrust Reverse Indication
    Indicates the thrust reverser position.
    GREEN: fully deployed,
    AMBER: in transition,
RED: discrepancy between selected and actual reverser positions.
2. N1 Indication
   Digital indication.
   Displays the percentage of RPM,
   GREEN: normal operating range,
RED: operating limited existed,   AMBER DASHED: invalid information.
3.  N1 Wing Anty-Ice Cyan Line
Set only in icing conditions during in final approach with landing gear,
Down indicates the minimum thrust level.
4. N1 Target Indication
Maximum N1 for selected engine thrust mode.
Cyan selected V-shaped bug represents the N1 target on the dial Indicator,
   CYAN: normal condition,
   AMBER DASHED: invalid information.
5. Thrust Rating Mode Indication
Indicates the current thrust rating mode. Indications are displayed in cyan.
6. ATTCS Indications
To indicate Automatic Take Off Thrust Control System Status.
   Label: status
   GREEN: armed,
   WHITE: enabled,
   BLANK: not selected.
7. Assumed Temperature Condition
It displays the temperature set on the MCDU. This indication is also used as a reference for    flexible thrust.
8. N1 Request Indication
Indicates the momentary difference between the actual N1 and requested N1 applied by the thrust level position.
9. Maximum N1 Indication
Green tick mark indicates the maximum allowable N1 for the current thrust rating and    operating conditions.
10. N1 Red Line
 Indicates N1 limit
The digital and read out Colour: - change if this is value is exceeded.
11. Interturbine Temperature Condition
The pointer on the scale indicates a value equal to that shown on digital Read out.
            COLOUR:-
            GREEN: Normal operating range,
            RED:  operating rate exceeded.
12. Red/Amber Line
            Max allowable ITT,
Limits thrust thereby avoiding the maximum allowable ITT TO be exceeded.
13. Ignition Channel
            Indicates enable IGNITION channel.
            COLOUR:-
GREEN: IGN A, IGN B OR IGN AB,
            CYAN: IGN off.
14. N2 Indication
            Digital indication.
            GREEN: normal operating range,
            RED: Operating limit exceeded,
            AMBER DASHED: invalid information.
15. Fuel Flow Indication
Indicates fuel flow in kilograms per hour.
            GREEN: Normal operation,
            AMBER DASHED: Invalid information.
16. Oil Pressure Indication
            Indicates engine oil pressure.
            GREEN: normal operating range,
            AMBER: cautionary operating range,
            RED: operating limit exceeded,
            AMBER DASHED: invalid information.
17. Oil Temperature Indication
            Indicates engine oil temperature.
            Scale Pointers and digital Colours:-
            GREEN: Normal operating range,
            AMBER: Cautionary operating range,
            AMBER DASHED: Invalid information.
18. Engine Vibration Indication
Indicates low pressure and high pressure vibration levels for both the engines.
            Digital Colours:-
GREEN:  Normal operating range (0 to 3.9),
AMBER: Cautionary operating range (4.0 to 5.0),
            AMBER DASHED: invalid information.
